  Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will launch two innovative customer centric initiatives of the Reserve Bank of India on 12 November, 2021 at 11 AM via video conferencing.   Karuppur kalamkari paintings and the Kallakurichi wood carvings, from Tamil Nadu recently received the geographical indication (GI) tags. These are done in Karuppur and its surrounding villages in Ariyalur district, and Thanjavur district.
